True on-line UPS:

Mains is powered into the unit and converted from ac to dc current and then fed through the batteries. It is then converted a second time from dc to ac current. The result is clean and uninterrupted power to the load. This type of UPS must be used when running in conjunction with a generator. This technology is ideal for sensitive electronic equipment.

Line Interactive

The incoming mains is filtered and regulated through an Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVR) and then to the load. When mains fail, the dc - ac inverter is switched on and then continues to supply the load. Suitable for most loads. This technology will not be compatible for use with a generator.

Emergency Power System

These units incorporate a large battery charger and dc - ac inverter. When mains is present the batteries charge. When mains fail, the inverter continues to supply the load. This range is suitable for most loads and offers very long battery run times at affordable pricing. In most cases an EPS can be used with a generator.
